Accord project

Life has instilled in me that we can only achieve what we believe to be able to reach, and this means we not only have to believe, but we have to take steps towards our goals. On October 19th of 2006, a legend was being born and introduced to the accord community worldwide. Hundreds of hours of meticulous work put into what became my statement of taste and desired result. Alone as a one man crew, I was determined to take no shortcuts to proudly reach my goal. The same focus for excellent results still lives, and will never be diminished.

The plan: Full color change, 2 tone paint job, purple for the most part, blue stripe to brake the ice. Facelift the front end with a JDM Sir accord’s bumper along with the lights.
The car needed some work done, or so I thought. I replaced the left side ¼ panel with an OEM one. The side door moldings, including the fender ones were removed, and the holes were patched and welded.
An Authentic Sir clip was sourced from an importing company in Florida, the headlights and the bumper with the intersection lights already installed were what I was really after.
I was able to find the front lip of the 95/96 JDM accord as well. The project only began after months I had decided that I was going to do it, I made several drawings of the design of the stripe to be painted, it had to be subtle, but I wanted it to be distinct from the rest of the car.

Once I started working on the car, and started to get things removed and worked on, I came across lots of “might as well” that actually created more work, thus taking the project to a higher level. The engine was pulled out and kept naturally aspirated, but not until it had been completely torn apart and internals had been replaced. Higher compression pistons, bigger valves, new camshaft, port and polished head, not to mention the customized valve cover.
More pictures will be uploaded, so please make sure to come back often, thank you.
